Mountain Air

Today we are going for a breath of fresh air into the mountains.
How I started was by cutting a base card in white,
then topped it with the spruce green top then added another top of black, to bring out the black of the mountains.  I inked around the sun with pineapple punch color this is the rays of the sun. Then I stamped a sun right in the middle with so saffron.
I made a mask of the mountains and held it down so I could ink up the sky in Balmy Blue and a little bit of seaside spray, then it's time to remove the mask and stamp the beautiful mountain, then I stamped some spruce green trees. I built a reflection of the mountains by second-generation stamping and the same with the trees.
Time to ink up the ocean in balmy blue and put some seaside spray shadows. I again stamped some trees at the bottom of the card.
Glued it to the background cardstock.
This is where everything falls apart on me...LOL
measurements were cockeyed, but I continued with the card, and I thought I should show you, we are only human we all make mistakes.  So much aggravation in making this card, my hands were so filthy with all colors of ink, stamping was somewhat cockeyed, but hey it was my first attempt at making it.

  1. LOL! Sorry you were frustrated, Ana, but it turned out beautifully! Since this is an ocean scene, I keep looking for a while to emerge from the water! I'm not very good about doing reflection scenes, so this looks amazing to me. I often deliberately cut my layers to different sizes, and sometimes, I deliberately adhere them slightly diagonally, so this looks perfect to me! It's a great card, Ana! hugs, de

  2. What a fun card! Reminds me of the painting of Bob Ross. Good job!

Good Morning stamping friends. I have a corner fold or sometimes called a corner tuck. I used a plain light blue color for the card matt and...
